About glp1foryou
About glp1foryou
glp1foryou publishes what GLP-1 medication costs in the United States, built from federal open data. Every figure on the site traces to a named public dataset with a publication date, and every page links the file it came from.
What is on this site
Cost. What a pharmacy pays to acquire each GLP-1 product, from the CMS National Average Drug Acquisition Cost survey. NADAC publishes a rate per pricing unit. This site converts that rate to a cost per package, because a Ozempic pen holds 3 mL and a per-millilitre rate is not a number anyone can act on.
Access. How many clinicians prescribe each GLP-1 in each state and city, from Medicare Part D. What Medicaid paid per prescription in each state, from CMS State Drug Utilization.
Enforcement. Every FDA warning letter whose text names a GLP-1. Every outsourcing facility registered under section 503B, with its inspection date and Form 483 status. Every firm listed as the labeler of a GLP-1 package.
Programmes. What the online GLP-1 programmes charge, read from their own sites, with the date each price was read and a link to the page it was read from.
What this site is not
It is not a pharmacy, a clinic or a prescriber. It sells no medication and provides no medical advice. See the medical disclaimer.
It is not a source of retail prices. NADAC is what a pharmacy pays a wholesaler. No page on this site claims to tell you what you will pay at a counter, because the federal data does not contain that number.
How it makes money
Some outbound links to telehealth programmes carry a commission. Those links are marked, and the affiliate disclosure lists where they appear. Commission never affects a rating, a ranking or an order — the editorial policy states what does.
The safety register carries no commercial links at all.
How to check the work
The methodology page states every source, every join and every known limit. Where a figure looks wrong, the page it appears on links the original file, so the disagreement can be settled against the source rather than against us.

NADAC figures are pharmacy acquisition costs, not retail prices and not what you will pay. This content is educational and is not medical advice.
